There is something about Christmas that I have observed over the years. People buy clothes and jewelleries, bag of rice and two or three big fowls to go with it. Yea I said fowls cause some people do duck. I remember back in the days we had duck instead. Cute right? But that's not story today. What I observe and really want share is that towards the end of the year people get just a little bit more desperate to find a relationship and for those already in one they work harder to keep.
Why? In my humble opinion I think it's because Christmas being a season of love and all, nobody wants to spend Christmas a loner.
The interesting thing is, this action seem to be involuntary, it's seem to be just an impulse, just a force driving us as human right from the inside. It's not planned for , not given any thought at all. People don't even know they are doing it. We just do it. It just happens.
I for one save last Christmas and this one have always found myself in one relationship around Christmas even if all year I have been single. Believe me it just happened. I know a lot of people out there can relate to this. So what's really happening? And why? Will it always be this way?
Well, now you know, rice and chicken and wearing expensive clothes alone don't make Christmas. What makes Christmas is love so spread some love and you're not alone should you be a having this experience too.
Just one final word though, man hold on to your spouse even tighter at Christmas, woman adore your man more at Christmas, singles hope you find love at Christmas but if you can't find love at Christmas, don't worry, be happy, hakuna matata, you still got valentine.
